Abstract
The interaction of buta-1:3-diene and thiophen with hydrogen has been investigated over molybdenum disulphide catalysts. The adsorption of hydrogen sulphide over these catalysts has also been studied, using a [35S] radiotracer technique, and the effect of adsorbed 'sulphur' upon the buta-1:3-diene hydrogenation reaction investigated.
