Abstract

This thesis describes the determination and analysis of the nucleotide sequence of the BamHI 10 fragment in the small (S) segment of the genome of pseudorabies virus, strain Ka. The fragment was cloned into the plasmid vector pUC18, and its complete sequence determined. It was found to be 4008 nucleotides in length and to include two genes.
