Abstract

The following paper is the outcome of an enquiry int the digestion and absorption of fats in infantile atrophy. The results obtained in this condition were sufficiently interesting the encourage me to conduct a similar enquiry into the fat absorption in rickets and tetany, conditions in which fat assimilation is considered to play a highly important part. I propose to deal with these diseases separately but as the conclusions arrived at apply in many respects the all three, they will be given at the end of the paper.
