Fulton, Euan (2009) Portfolio of compositions. MMus(R) thesis, University of Glasgow.Due to Embargo and/or Third Party Copyright restrictions, this thesis is not available in this service.
The music in the portfolio is a result of a gradual change in methodology and aesthetic concerns. My previous music displayed an overriding concern with the inherent technical ‘coherence’ of the finished result. The masters material employs a more improvisatory or intuitive methodology, and the music is less concerned with displaying a large-scale structure.
