Abstract
The music in the portfolio is a result of a gradual change in methodology and aesthetic concerns. My previous music displayed an overriding concern with the inherent technical ‘coherence’ of the finished result. The masters material employs a more improvisatory or intuitive methodology, and the music is less concerned with displaying a large-scale structure.
